About Us

Off The Beat is a slice of life comic in which an enthusiastic but untried team attempts to open a music venue in a small city.

Think of this as Cheers, meets Almost Famous.   The comic is partially inspired by my ongoing project to open a real music venue in my hometown.

We're really hoping that none of the misadventures that befall our characters befall us in real life.  But if they do, we'll be sure to write about them.

Nate Levy is the author of this comic and the sponsor of the still theoretical music venue.  Check out JYNXHALL.COM for details and updates.

He may or may not have a passing resemblance to Connor.  He can be reached at offthebeatcomic@gmail.com

Lytle the Lemur is the illustrator, who's musical accomplishment consists of mastering "Hot Cross Buns"  on the plastic recorder in 4th grade."
